The world of online Community Management is still growing, so why not get insight and details from one of the largest community's around the Web, reddit.

The previous three classes focused on a bit of history on online communities, the members that make up your ecosystem, the tools you will use to manage and connect with others, and how to create and find inspiration when building your policies and guidelines. This is all find and well, but without a first hand look and getting different prospectives on online communities you will only be getting a small portion of the story.

reddit is not just an online community based around a single point of interest or theme, but a home to thousands of communities with a rather broad range of demographics, global cultures, and of course ridiculous inside jokes and memes. While the admins, more commonly associated with a mix of developers and community manager style roles, are frequently hands off these are the folks who have contributed and nutured their newly achieved mark of over 2 billions page viws in a month (not to mention a ridiculous 16 minutes average time on site and extremely low over all bounce rate).

If you are truely interested in community management I would implore you to join reddit's General Manager (similar to an uber super Community Manager with probably a lot more hats) for a bit of insight into one of the world's largest online communities.
